He boasts a perfect harness racing record behind her, but come Saturday night, Wayne Hill hopes Roll With Eunice (Roll With Joe) gets beaten.
Roll With Eunice is undefeated from seven starts since arriving from New Zealand, with Hill partnering the daughter of Roll With Joe to six victories.
Gaita Pullicino took the reins behind Roll With Eunice on the other occasion.
Admitting to feeling guilty about wanting the mareās winning streak to end, Hill has an acceptable reason.
Roll With Eunice is one of five Aaron Bain-trained runners in the same field at Globe Derby, with Hill booked to drive her stablemate, Classy Dancer.
Bernadette Page will be in the cart behind Roll With Eunice, which is only eligible thanks to Pageās concession claim.
āIāll be out there to win, so in that sense, I do want Roll With Eunice to be beaten,ā Hill said. āI donāt necessarily want her winning streak to end, but this time around she is the opposition.ā
Poised to make her Australian debut, Classy Dancer is first-up since running third in Addington on March 17.
The daughter of A Rocknroll Dance has drawn to settle prominently from barrier three.
Roll With Eunice will begin from gate five.
āThey tell me Classy Dancer comes out of the gate alright, so weāll be using the draw to advantage,ā Hill said.
