Harness racing hits Addington again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:15pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

The River Boy (7) Manners will be key but has the speed to go close here. Hard to beat
Lavra Solitaire (4) Good runs the first two and should improve. Winning claims
Opawa Peak (2) Getting fitter with racing. Not the worst with a good run in transit.

Race 2

Toby Tom B (3) Going good races with little luck. One of the major players in this field
Magician (9) Tricky draw but has a decent reputation. Hard to beat with the right trip
Judine (1) Racing well and a big chance from the draw. Top three claims in this field

Race 3

Gift Card (2) Consistent form-line and normally steps well. Should race well again
Clyde (5) Will be nearing peak fitness for this. Good chance in this field at longer odds
Master Class (7) Building nicely and can improve further. Top three claims with luck

Race 4

Smoke On The Water (6) Conditions suit and likely to head forward. Top selection
Sargent Best (4) Has been unlucky but driver change here. Go again in this. Include
Bryce’s Meddle (5) Tidy draw and good gate speed. Should race well again in this field

Race 5

Ohoka Le Bron (3) Has the motor to be a threat here from the nice draw. Hard to beat
Adesanya (4) Better suited in this field. Has to be respected and has winning claims
The Coalman (8) Change of driver for this. Not the worst and small field helps

Race 6

Live On Legend (9) Tricky draw but quick beginner. Looks a good chance in this field
Motor Mouth (6) Likely to press forward at some stage. Grinder who can stick on.
Ruby’s A Delight (8) Wide draw but in good form for this. Has to be a chance again

Race 7

Harold Smith (5) Going well and likely to be improved. Can go close in this with manners
Tu Tangata (1) Plenty of ability and only needs a quick beginning to be right in it. Needed
Domination’s Call (6) Good finish last start. Could surprise with luck in running. Include

Race 8

Mark My Words (5) On debut but has been good at trials. Looks a good winning chance
Rockenroll Graduate (1) Good draw here and he was ok last start. Can run top three
Pay Me Mortgage (6) Did it hard last start but stuck on well. Should be improved for this

Race 9

Sinbad (9) Coming in fresh and should eat this field. Hard to see him beaten in this
McCrikey (6) Quick beginner who could give some cheek with a good run in transit.
Tempo Warrior (4) Likely leader early. Good place chance behind the favourite
