Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame ceremony to be livestreamed

The Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame (CHRHF) is offering livestreaming of the 2023 Induction Gala Wednesday, August 9 beginning at 6:30 pm eastern.  Hosted by CHRHF Honoured Member Jim Bannon, along with harness racing personality Kelly Spencer and Woodbine Thoroughbred Race Caller Robert Geller, the induction ceremonies will include the formal induction of the CHRHF’s classes of 2022 and 2023.

The sixteen people and horses officially entering the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame as part of this evening’s induction event include:

Court Vision – Class of 2022 – Thoroughbred Male Horse
Irwin Driedger – Class of 2023 – Jockey
Gilles Gendron – Class of 2023 – Driver
Shadow Play – Class of 2022 – Standardbred Male Horse
Dr. Lloyd McKibbin DVM, Class of 2023 – Standardbred Builder
Formal Gold – Class of 2023 – Thoroughbred Male Horse
Charles E. Fipke – Class of 2023 Thoroughbred Builder
Frank Salive – Class of 2022 – Standardbred Communicator
Alydeed – Class of 2022 – Thoroughbred Veteran
Jack Darling – Class of 2022 – Standardbred Trainer
Chris Christoforou – 2023 – Driver
R. Glenn Sikura – Class of 2023 – Thoroughbred Builder
Pink Lloyd – Class of 2023 – Thoroughbred Male Horse
Bulldog Hanover – Class of 2023 Standardbred Male Horse
Eurico Rosa Da Silva – Class of 2022 – Jockey
