Geocentric (Sweet Lou) extended her unbeaten harness racing streak to four straight by wiring the field in the $80,000 second leg of the Kentucky Sire Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies at The Red Mile Sunday (Aug. 13).
Starting from post three in the 11th race co-feature, Geocentric and driver Tim Tetrick left from post three and never looked back, cutting fractions of :29.3, :57.4 and 1:26.1 with no challengers.
She poured it on in the stretch to win by four and one-half lengths in 1:51.3. Gifted One (Todd McCarthy) sat the pocket trip and finished second. Seeuontheotherside (Tony Hall) was third.
Trained by Brian Brown, Geocentric is owned by Milton Leeman, Alan Keith, James Stambaugh and Joe Sbrocco. She paid $2.10 to win.
GEOCENTRIC REPLAY
Then in the 13th race $80,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes for three-year-old trotting fillies, Mambacita (Tactical Landing) and driver Scott Zeron worked out a perfect two-hole trip to score an upset victory.
Race favorite Railee Something (Yannick Gingras) left from post five and took command of the race with Mambacita sitting second. Railee Something cut fractions of :27.2, :55.4 and 1:23.3 and carried Mambacita to the lane when she took off down the stretch.
Mambacita went on to win by one and a quarter lengths in 1:50.4. Caviart Gwen (Andy McCarthy) closed well to be second with Railee Something third.
MAMBACITA REPLAY
Sent off at odds of 9-1, Mambacita paid $21.60 to win. It was her fourth win of the year and tied her lifetime record. She is trained by Tony Alagna and co-owned by Alagna Racing with Crawford Farms Racing and Pryde Stables, Inc.

Flawless Breaks Through in Commonwealth Series
Flawless (Captaintreacherous, Gingras, $21.10) took the $30,000 Kentucky Commonwealth Series leg for 2-year-old filly pacers in 1:51.4 by a nose to break her maiden in her fourth career start. Her granddam is world champion and Dan Patch Award winner Yellow Diamond. She is trained by Nancy Takter, Flawless and races as a homebred for Marvin Katz and Sam Goldband.
Piano Bar (Bar Hopping, Tetrick, $12.24) won the division for 3-year-old trotting fillies in a new lifetime mark of 1:53.4 for her third victory in nine trips to the post. Trained by Ake Svanstedt, the filly competes as a homebred for Al Libfield, Marvin Katz and Sam Goldband.
Tactical Approach Offspring Sweep Goldenrod Series Divisions
Una Madonna (Tactical Landing, Zeron, $6.66) was victorious in the division for sophomore trotting fillies and Foolish Games (T. McCarthy, $3.50), another daughter of Tactical Landing, scored in the split for 2-year-old filly trotters.
Every Mans Dream (Always B Miki, Gingras, $12.34) and Odds On Live Ball (Peter Wrenn, $8) captured the divisions for 2- and 3-year-old filly pacers.
T. McCarthy, Tetrick and Gingras reined two winners over the red clay oval.
