Gary Levine sent five harness racing trainees to the track on Sunday (Aug. 13) evening at Saratoga Casino Hotel and every one took home a check, with three making a trip to the winner’s circle.

In fact, Levine sent out six horses on Sunday with four winners returned counting his victory at Tioga Downs with Hestherightstuff.

Levine opened up the 13-race card at the Spa with Shake N Blake (Hes Watching-St Lads Peeper), driven to victory by Billy Dobson in an $8,700 condition pace.

Dobson sent Shake N Blake rocketing from the far outside in the field of seven. Shedazy Duke (Jim Devaux) owned the rail real estate through the opening panel in :27.1, leaving Shake N Blake parked on the outside. Dobson cleared the top and never looked back as he took the sophomore filly through panels in :57.2 and 1:27 en route to a 3-3/4 length victory in 1:56.4. Shedazy Duke took second and Boston Jive (Fern Paquet, Jr.) was third.

Levine owns Shake N Blake ($4.70) as she earned her third win in 10 career starts.

SHAKE N BLAKE REPLAY

Only Ten I See (American Ideal) gave Levine his second golf cart ride to the winner’s circle in the second race, a $9,500 condition pace.

Matt Athearn and Only Ten I See followed the pocket trip behind pacesetter Shine Brighter (Wally Hennessey) as she handed out panels in :28.3, :58.3, and 1:27.2. Down the lane, the four-year-old challenged the leader while also fending off a rallying Danceforthemoney (Shawn Gray). Only Ten I See prevailed by a neck in 1:56.3 over Shine Brighter, who finished second by a neck over Danceforthemoney.

Fbp Racing Stable LLC and Gary Levine co-own the mare for her first win of the season and fifth career tally. She paid $12.40 to win.

ONLY TEN I SEE REPLAY

Bontz N (American Ideal) made every pole a winning one in her $9,650 condition pace with Mitchell Cushing in the bike for Levine.

Cushing and the 12-year-old mare controlled the timer through panels in :27.3, :56.4, and 1:26.1 before winning by a half-length in 1:56. Cenalta Call Girl (Devaux) rallied late but was bested at the wire and took second. Nora Tova ended in the show spot.

Owned by Levine, Bontz N ($12.40) earned her second win of the season and 35th career win.
