Stallions Australasia sires made a clean sweep of the three-year-old harness racing finals of the Nutrien Equine Classic at Bendigo on Friday night (Aug 11).
Tradie Lady (Trixton) overcame a difficult barrier draw and a wide passage to easily win the $125,000 filliesā division, while Prince Of Rock (Wishing Stone) led from the outside gate and maintained a solid tempo before capturing the $125,000 colts and geldingsā final.
In posting his fourth win on end,Ā Prince Of Rockrated a career-best 1:57.2 for the 2150 metres with the last 800 in a slick 57.7.
Tradie Lady, the winner of three of her seven attempts, also established a new speed badge of 1:59.5.
Brilliant Trixton four-year-old entireĀ Just For Trixbecame the 29thĀ 1:50 trotter ever when he led from go to whoa in 1:50 flat at Lexingtonās Red Mile on Sunday (August 6).
Tactical Landing, the sire of this yearās Hambletonian winnerĀ Ā Tactical Approach, was also represented by a second winner on āHamboā day in the three-year-old fillyĀ Tactical Mount, who is part-owned by Stallions Australasia agent Gayle Garrard.
Another recent winner by Tactical LandingĀ was the three-year-oldĀ Brace For Landing, who scored in 1:54.8 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
