In the Gran Premio Finale Championship Female 5-year-olds (purse 66,000ā¬, 2100 meters autostart) the 2.4/1 odds Eloida (3f Napoleon Bar-Irmas-Bon Vivant) scored in 1.13.8kr in front most of the way for Mario Minopoli Jr. at the lines.
She led easily until Ete Jet closed in late. Ete Jet (3f Maharajah-Love Me Tender-Supergill) was second at 3.4/1 for Alessandro Gocciadoro while 7.4/1 Eridamia (3f Adrian Chip-Damina-Malabar Man) took third for Andea Farolfi. The 6.8/1 odds Eleonora Grif was fourth for Vincenzo Luongo. Note below the winnerās dam is sired by the Speedy Crown son Bon Vivant.
In the Gran Premio Finale Championship Female four year olds (purs3 66,000ā¬, 2100 meters autostart) revealed a 1.4/1 odds favorite Daughter As (4f Father Patrick-Highland Image-Andover Hall) as the winner timed in 1.13.3kr. Alessandro Gocciadoro was the trainer/driver of this one. Second to the line was 13.7/1 odds Dali Prav (4f Donato Hanover-Katrina Prav-Lemon Dra) with Rene Legati aboard and 3.8/1 Due Italia (4f Adrian Chip-Unique Grif-Varenne) was on top early and held third for Andrea Farolfi.
In the Gran Premio Criterium for four year old males (purse 100,000ā¬, 2100 meters autostart0 the impressive Diamond Truppo (4m Varenne-Nives Maneu0Indro Park) scored handily in 1.12.1kr. Racing without shores the Gocciadoro trainee driven by the master, defeated Diluca Mo (4m Lorenz del Ronco-Penelopenat-Bartoli OK) and third finishing Daniele Jet (4 Naglo-Frulia Jet-Park Avenue Joe). The Italian bred, developed and campaigned trotters have enjoyed a great campaign in Italy, Sweden and France and the performances today project more success in the future for the E and D crops. Even the great Varenne continues to influence these trotters.
