Ghostbuster (7g Niky) was next at 15/1 for driver Yoann Lebourgeois and trainer Severine Raimond. 5.3/1 Galileo Bello (7m Aladin dāEcajeul) was third for pilot Franck Nivard and trainer/owner Anne Francis Donati-Marcillac.
Ipalio (5m Django Riff-Urosida) took the Prix du Perigord (purse 60,000ā¬, 2850 meters, 14 starters aged 5-6 years) timed in 1.13.1kr at 10/1 odds with P. Y. Verva driving for breeder/owner Alphonse Vanberghen as he won for third time in his career for 147,365ā¬ earned. 13/1 odds Dollar Doc (6g Ready Cash-Gill Star) was second for Alexandre Abrivard and even money favorite Cobra Killer Gar (5g Readly Express-Lady Killer Gar) was third with Gabriele Gelormin driving this H. E. Bondo trainee.
Coming up on August 26th at Cagnes sur Mer is the Grand Prix de Department des Alpes, a Gr. II International test for 180,000ā¬ purse and raced over 1609 meters autostart. The lineup includes Go On Boy, Capital Mail, Bepi Bi, Bleff Dipa and Eclat de Gloire.
