Race replays of the week

On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

AMERICAN REPLAY

Garnet Barnsdale covered some of the competitive Empires Breeders Classic racing from Tioga Downs on Sunday afternoon. Among those to impress was Huntinthelastdolar who scored in the sophomore pacing colts and geldings division. You can watch the comfortable 1:51.0 victory below.

CANADIAN REPLAY

Nicholas Barnsdale did an excellent job of tracking the major feature racing from Woodbine Park on Saturday last week. The feature $620,000 William Wellwood Memorial on Saturday going the way of TCI in good time of 1:54.3. Watch the competitive finish below.

NEW ZEALAND REPLAY

The Maurice Holmes vase took place at Addington on Friday night with Mossdale Ben proving too strong over the concluding stages as he shifted out from a quiet run on the pegs to mount a late charge to the line for Ben hope. Bruce Stewart covered the feature for Harnesslink.com
