MSS prelims wrap up at Ocean Downs

Ocean Downs hosted the final harness racing freshman Sire Stake prelims on Wed. Aug. 30^th.

The 2 year old trotting fillies went behind the gate in an early non-wagering event. Only I Exist (Yall Beneath Me) went gate to wire sweeping both preliminary events. Driver Russell Foster steered the filly to the 2:03.2 win for owner-trainer-breeder Richard Hans. New Concept (Lockkeeper) finished second.

The pacing colts and geldings went to post in race 5.

Reinsman Johnathan Ahle sent For You Girls (Dontloseyourdayjob) to the lead, opening ground at every fraction of the 1:57.3 mile, with Firecrackergraham (Mr Apples) holding the place spot the entire mile. Katie Callahan trains For You Girls for owner-breeder Brian Callahan.
