Champion trainer Emma Stewart equalled her own Australian harness racing record of nine winners at a race meeting on Vicbred Super Series Semi Final night at Melton.
The team from the incomparable Stewart barn took out nine of the 12 Vicbred Super Series Semi Finals equalling the record she set in April last year at a Launceston race meeting.
The Stewart prepared fillies Draw A Dream (He’s Watching) and Renewal (American Ideal) both saluted in their respective 2YO Fillies Semi Finals while Stormryder (Captaintreacherous) led all the way in the 2YO Colts & Geldings Semi Final with Stewart trained runners filling the first five placings.
The stable completed a clean sweep of all four 3YO Semi Finals.
The impressive Petracca (Captaintreacherous) thrashed the opposition in his Semi Final while Techys Watching (He’s Watching) and Perfect ClassĀ made it a Stewart trained quinella in the other Semi Final.
SWEET BELLA REPLAY
Sweet Bella (Sweet Lou) made it seven wins from as many career starts when she led all the way in the second Semi Final (3YO Fillies) while Joyful (Always B Miki) proved too strong for her rivals in the first Semi Final.
Amore Vita (Art Major) produced one of the best efforts of the night when she sat parked in taking out the first Semi Final (4YO Mares) in a mile rate of 1:54.8.

In fact, the five members of the Stewart muster were the first five runners past the post.
The stable provided the quinella in the second Semi Final when Talk Time (Captaintreacherous) led all the way defeating Star Celebrity.
The Ballarat based Stewart and her partner Clayton Tonkin will harness up no less than 23 runners in the Vicbred Super Series Finals at Melton next Saturday night.
