Harness racing hits Motukarara again today with twelve races on the card. The racing starts at 12:30pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Tilthesunsets (2) Will be fitter for last start fourth and good beginner. Top selection in this
Muscle Sass (7) Needs to trot all the way but hard to beat with no mistakes. Include
Gary Player (15) Has plenty of speed but slow beginner. One for longer odds here

Race 2

Sweet Tizzy Lou (4) Has been racing better than the form suggests. Chance from the draw
Lawyer Girl (14) Tricky draw but lots of ability. Needs a cart into the race but has claims
Gaudi (11) Trialing ok and respect the stable. Could surprise fresh and top three hope

Race 3

Sailor Boy (10) Grass suits and good second lats start. Looks one of the better chances
Major Henry (2) Ok last start and big improver for this. Should give a good account
Bets On (5) Grass will suit and could be over the odds. Needs the right trip but has claims

Race 4

Rosie Richter (15) Has a decent motor and grass should suit. Chance at longer odds
Verducci (11) Good second on grass fresh and likely improver. Go again here
Seacracka (16) Tricky draw but no doubting ability. Top three chance with luck in running

Race 5

Natives Inferno (14) Racing well and will love the grass. Can go close here at good odds
Maxwell Edison (13) Has a bit of a reputation. Can run a cheeky race with luck
Monarch Prince (3) Good win last start and rise in grade no issue. Could go close again

Race 6

Just Michael (4) Unlucky last start and driver change. Better suited here. Needed
Flyaway (2) Race form ok and much better draw for this. One of the major players
Expressive Love (14) Running good races but difficult draw. Will be running on late

Race 7

Moonlite Dream (7) Good second last start and can go on with it. Looks hard to beat
Foveaux Gambler (1) Tidy draw and stand suits. Can step and land a good spot early.
Apatchofgold (15) Ok last start and will step quickly. Good chance in an even field. Needed

Race 8

Times Are A Changin (7) Battled on ok last start and well placed on grass. Chance at odds
Big Mama Morris (5) Quick beginner who might lead early. One of the better place chances
Amelia Rose (1) Ok last start and could sneak a placing from the draw. Include here

Race 9

Oscar Bonavena (11) Tricky handicap but has the speed to be a contender. Top selection
Resolve (2) Big last start and could get a good run from the draw. Not the worst
Aveross Majesty (4) Has come back looking stronger and drawn ok. Top three chance

Race 10

Maren Franco (9) In good form and loves the track. Draw hurts but can go close with luck
Emma’s Delight (11) Better for the last start run and big improver for this. Good chance here
Superstar Legend (5) Quick beginner who could take running down. Top three player in this

Race 11

Whats Wanted (13) Conditions suit in this and nice second last start. Hard to beat here
Love Is Everywhere (4) Better than the form suggests. Needs the right trip but has claims
Buffy Northstains (18) Good beginner who goes well on grass. One for longer odds here

Race 12

Blue Rock Dancer (12) Trialled well on grass and should go well fresh. Hard to beat here
Stephs Boy (4) Better than the form suggests. Needs the right trip but has claims
Sargent Best (6) Ok last start and good course stats. Can place with a good run in transit
