Ton up for star A Rocknroll Dance duo

The Albion Park winner Golightly (1:53.1) and the NSW provincial winner Be My Rock have joined the growing list of $100,000 earners sired by A Rocknroll Dance, who is standing at Somerset Farms in Queensland, of Pete and Chantal McMullen.

A Rocknroll Dance has sired 41 ‘down under’ bred pacers to top the $100,000 mark and 15 with earnings of $200,000 or more.

The Rocknroll Hanover horse is enjoying a breakout season in Australia with 145 individual winners and $3.2million in progeny earnings.

He is sitting in eighth position on the all aged stakemoney list and sixth in respect of winners.

In New Zealand, A Rocknroll Dance is ranked fifth on the sire list with $959,453, while in North America his stock has earned just shy of $4million.

Other recent metropolitan winners by A Rocknroll Dance include the Albion Park winners Rock Nien (1:53.6) and English Dance (1:57), La Toison Dor (Melton) and Classy Dancer NZ (Globe Derby Park twice).
