Menangle Park horseman Jarrod Alchin has big plans for his Eureka harness racing starter My Ultimate Ronnie (Bettor’s Delight).

Following the four-year-old’s success at Menangle last Saturday night, connections have earmarked an interstate campaign for the 17-time winner.

With a flight booked to Perth for the Golden Nugget mid-December, Alchin and owners Tumby Park will decide soon if they take My Ultimate Ronnie west.

“Everything is turning along nicely,” said Alchin.

“We will get through the Breeders Challenge series before we decide.”

Breeders Challenge qualifiers for the four-year-olds will be held at Menangle on October 14 for the mares and October 21 for the entires and geldings, all leading into the finals on Sunday October 29.

My Ultimate Ronnie finished third in the Breeders Challenge Final as a two-year-old and second to Leap To Fame in the Group 1 final last season.

Meanwhile, Alchin has also nominated My Ultimate Ronnie for the upcoming Inter Dominion in Queensland starting on December 1 where he is ranked 25.

Listen to Jarrod Alchin chat with Greg Hayes in the latest edition of The Sprint Lane – The Sundhayes Session below.

Hayes also caught up with injured reinsman Brad Hewitt and Jack Callaghan in this episode.
