Grove City, OH – The final of four Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association harness racing charity nights across the state is scheduled for Saturday, October 7 at Hollywood Dayton Raceway.
Ten charities will participate in the event, each paired with a horse during the 8th race. Each charity will receive a donation from the OHHA for participating. The charity paired with the first place will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, and third place $3,000. All other finishers receive $2,000 donations.
The participating charities will find out which horse they will be cheering for during a live stream on the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Facebook page on Thursday, October 5 at 1:00 PM.
The participating charities are 4 Paws for Ability, Fisher/Nightingale Houses, Inc., Honor Flight Dayton, Peace and Tranquility Lake Corp., Pink Ribbon Good, Ronald McDonald House Charities Dayton, Shoes 4 the Shoeless, Toys for Tots/United States Marine Corps, United Rehabilitation Services, and With God’s Grace.
