A “bettor’s delight” of wagering Sunday at Red Mile

Lexington, Kentucky…October 6, 2023…While the sire Bettor’s Delight will be represented on a few of the harness racing pacing events on Sunday’s (Oct. 8) Kentucky Futurity Day at the Red Mile, it will be a “bettor’s delight,” as well, for the Send It In Army the entire afternoon from “start to finish.”

The gigantic 15 race program will offer $100,000 in guarantees along with several mandatory payouts.

Of course, the $450,000 Kentucky Futurity will provide the crowning touch for the successful fall meeting but the festivities get under way in the first race with a $10,000 guaranteed pool on the 20 cent Pick-6 with a mandatory payout, as well. The event also features a low 15% takeout.

Race three features a Pick-5 with a 12% takeout coupled with a $10,000 guaranteed pool.

Race six will begin the traditional Red Mile Pick-4 (12% takeout) with the guarantee boosted to $20,000.

The eighth race will feature yet another Pick-5 with a $10,000 guaranteed pool featuring a mandatory payout on this final day.

The 10th race—the 58th Kentucky Filly Futurity—will feature a rare trifecta pool guarantee pool of $20,000 with this race further a “bettor’s delight” with the addition of a Super Hi-5.

In the 12th race, a final Pick-4 has been added to the wagering buffet featuring a $10,000 guaranteed pool and a mandatory payout.

Finally, in the grand finale 15th race, the 131st edition of the prestigious Kentucky Futurity with a purse of $450,000, a $20,000 guarantee is pegged for the Trifecta along a mandatory payout on the Super Hi-5.

Of course, the traditional wagering options will also be offered throughout the program, including “bookend daily doubles,” exacta, trifecta, superfecta and win, place and show wagering.
