Harness racing driver Andy Miller and trainer Cody Schadel teamed up to win three Pennsylvania Fair Finals races on Monday afternoon (Oct. 9) at Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania. There were eight Fair Finals on the card on the day, each carrying a purse of $25,000.

Miller and Schadel won the very first final of the day, when they scored with Showboat Hanover (Betting Line), winner in the 2-year-old pacing filly division in 1:55. That matched the PA Fair Final record winning time for her age group. They would add victories in the 2-year-old trotting group, with Quarantina (International Moni) in 1:58, and in the 2-year-old colts and geldings division, with Ante Up Hanover (Betting Line) in 1:53:2.

Trainer Roger Hammer also picked up a pair of Fair Finals wins on the day with two odds-on favorites. In the 2-year-old colts and geldings trotting group, Battin Athousand (Fordham Road) rolled to a victory in 1:57:2 with Matt Kakaley in the bike. Later, the Hammer barn was ably represented by Little Town Road (Fordham Road), who was driven by Brady Brown to a convincing victory in 1:59 in the final for 2-year-old trotting filles.

The biggest surprise in the Fair Finals was turned in by Watch U R Back (Pacific Renegade) in the 3-year-old colts and geldings pacers division. With Braxten Boyd in the bike for trainer Bob Krenitsky Jr., the gelding snuck up the passing lane to win at 25-1 in 1:54:2. Little Lady J (A Rocknroll Dance) also came home at savory odds in the 3-year-old pacing fillies group, winning at 8-1 with Jeremy Indof in the bike for trainer Mitchell York in 1:54:2.

Thaler Hanover picked up the remaining Fair Final win on the Monday card. Shawn Johnston did the honors as driver for trainer Gary Johnston, as Thaler Hanover won in the 2-year-old colts and geldings trot final in 1:58:4.

Pocono Downs at Mohegan Pennsylvania resumes live racing on Tuesday afternoon (October 10) with a 1 PM Eastern post time. There are 14 races on the Tuesday Pocono card.
