Plainville, MA — The $1.2 million 2 and 3-year-old finals of the Massachusetts Sire Stakes will be held at Plainridge Park on Tuesday (Oct. 24) and the harness racing connections of eligible participants should take note that there will be a detention barn in place for all starters.
Trainers need to make sure their horses arrive in the barn area at Plainridge Park no later than 8 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 23) and they will be directed to their stalls upon arrival.
Also, The Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts will be providing a free luncheon for all who are racing on Tuesday (Oct. 24). There will be pizza, deserts and soft drinks available in the paddock compliments of the breeders. The Standardbred Owners of Massachusetts would like to wish all the connections who will be competing in both the stakes and the overnight races that day good luck.
