Dayton, OH – In a blanket finish it was Brookview Bullet (Always A Virgin) to win by a head in the $25,000 Horses and Geldings Open harness racing Pace at Dayton Raceway on Thursday, November 3.
Leaving from Post 1 Brookview Bullet protected pylon position, setting himself up a pocket ride behind Stars Align A (Dan Noble) and a dueling Let It Ride N (Tony Hall). Through quick early fractions of 25.4, 55.1, 1:22.2 Stars Align continued to lead the field to the top of the stretch, it was then that Brookview Bullet took advantage of the Dayton oval’s passing lane and with a tactical move up the inside Brookview Bullet and driver Josh Sutton found victory in the card’s feature race in 1:51 over Stars Align A and Captain Romance.
