Plainville, MA — Bad And Boujee (Badlands Hanover) made it rain at Plainridge Park on Tuesday afternoon (Nov. 7) first by winning the $15,000 co-featured conditioned harness racing pace and then by returning a stout $26.20 mutuel.

Bad And Boujee

Jay Randall got away a close fifth with Bad And Boujee as Crockets Cullen N (Larry Stalbaum) and G W T (Kevin Switzer Jr.) battled for front-end supremacy heading to the half in :55.4. Bad And Boujee moved into position on the outside behind G W T at that station and made a three-wide move around him into second approaching three-quarters. He then matched strides with Crocketts Cullen N around the last turn before pulling away in the stretch to win by a length in 1:53. Bad And Boujee is owned by James Behrendt and trained by Randy Bickmore.

BAD AND BOUJEE REPLAY

Randall ended the day with three winners while Bickmore registered two of his own.

In the other co-feature, the Massachusetts-bred 3-year-old Ben Solo (Huntsville, Kevin Switzer Jr.) also got away fifth and similarly followed cover from second-over to three-quarters in pursuit of the front running Control Group (Bruce Ranger). Switzer then tipped Ben Solo three-deep into the stretch and paced away to a 1-¾ length win in 1:54.2.

Ben Solo

Ben Solo ($3.20) is owned by the Jesmeral Stable and is trained by Christie Collins.

BEN SOLO REPLAY

In a very rare occurrence, the Wicked Hi-5 pentafecta was hit twice on Tuesday. In the sixth race the 4-2-5-6-1 combination returned $1,183.50 and in the ninth race, the 3-5-2-8-6 combination returned $703.16, both for a 20-cent wager.

Live racing will resume at Plainridge Park on Thursday (Nov. 9) with post time at 1 p.m.
