Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eight races on the card. The racing starts at 2:43pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Paramount Lady (4) Trials have been good but breaking on race day. Looks the winner with no mistakes
Burning Love (1) Good draw and a bit of a reputation. Top driver booked and has winning claims Needed
Without Comparison (7) Better last start and manners the only concern here. Top three chance for sure

Race 2

Shezza Vinny (7) Racing well and likely to head forward to take advantage early. Top selection
Tuneinsportsfans (6) Has good ability and gets into a weaker field here. Can run top three in this
Smart I Am  (2) Battled on last start and from the draw looks a solid place chance. Top three

Race 3

Robyns Shadow (2) Mobile and sprint trip suit. Running on last start but goes better from in front
Superfast (6) Wide draw but top driver booked and running well against similar fields. Needed
Chezz Dale (3) Always thereabouts and tidy draw. Will not be far away from the placings here

Race 4

Nubliah Chamay (5) Racing in good form and should go a strong race again here. Needed in this
Bill Bootit (3) Manners the key with this one and he has the ability to win if he trots all the way.
Majesdix (6) Drops back in class for this. Wide draw but small field will help in this. Include

Race 5

Mayson Shard (8) Strikes a wide draw but on form looks a solid winning chance. Likely to go forward
Durrant (9) Racing well in similar fields and one for longer odds in this. Could surprise with luck
Livy Desma (3) Drawn well and top driver booked. Has to be respected in this field from the draw

Race 6

Amass (3) Big run fresh and oodles of speed. Looks one of the better chances in this field
Itoje (6) Opened very short on fixed and stablemate could be better. Has to be included here
Magic Sign (2) Gets a head start on the favourites and could stick on for a place with luck

Race 7

Grubscrew (6) Good second two starts ago and looks a major player in this. Top selection
Asta (8) Tidy second on debut and should improve. Top driver booked and good winning chance
Robyns Hustler (1) Has been unlucky and draw upgrade for this. Can run top three at longer odds

Race 8

Brookies Player (8) Draw hurts but starting to show form again. Can get into the placings again
Outback Man (6) Top driver booked and unbeaten. Up in grade but winning claims again here
Step It Up A Notch (7) Good form in stronger fields. Chance if he goes forward early. Include
