The Inter Dominion champion and Horse of the Year Lennytheshark, who is now standing at Tourello Standardbreds in Tasmania, was represented by a ‘new’ two-year-old harness racing winner in the filly Sheza Lenny, a very impressive winner at Goulburn on Monday (November 27).
Having only her fifth start, Sheza Lenny sat parked most of the way before prevailing by a head in a sharp 1:57 rate for 1710 metres.
Lennytheshark has sired seven individual winners from 16 starters to date.
The triple millionaire All Bets Off, whose frozen semen is available from Tourello, enjoyed another productive week in North America. His first two crops to date have banked $3.6million with two in 1:50 and 35 in 1:55 including an outstanding two-year-old filly in Pass Line (1:49.6) and a crack three-year-old in Moment Is Here (1:49).
Smiling Shard, a Breeders Crown champion and NZ 2YO Colt of the Year, sired the recent Hobart winner Rebel With A Grin NZ and the Redcliffe three-year-old victor Smirks Lika Boss (1:56.3).
