Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 3:56pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Joeking (6) Racing against better fields and mobile will assist. Goes close with best manners
Lime In A Bottle (4) Getting better with racing and has the speed to be a major player. Needed
Storm Cloud (5) Has been disappointing but could surprise against weaker opposition here. 

Race 2

Scruffy (9) Trialing very well and looks capable of beating this field. Top selection here
Miki’s Beauty (4) Has good ability and gets into a weaker field here. Good winning claims
A Major Starr (7) Couple of battling forth placings last couple but field not strong. Place hope

Race 3

Dwindle Star (3) Stand and sprint trip suit. Should race handy and has winning claims in this
Abadabado (6) Running well against similar fields and top driver booked. Needed here
Shandon Bells (2) Racing ok and getting fitter with racing. Has to be respected from the draw

Race 4

Duke Of Scotland (10) Mobile and sprint trip suit. Nice third last start and can improve further
Tycoon Banner (9) Second against a stronger field last start. One of the better chances in this
Captain Sarah (5) Racing ok and getting fitter. Hard to see winning but top four player here

Race 5

Superfast (2) Strikes a nice draw and has top driver booked. Form is good and winning claims
La Moth (1) Best draw for some time and should get a good run in transit. Include here
Dalness Arizona (3) Nice all the way win at Timaru and looks the likely leader again here. Include

Race 6

Galleons Future (3) Slightly unlucky last start and good from a stand. One of the better chances
Port Pegasus (7) Coming in fresh with top driver on board. Has the ability if fully fit. Include
Winning Bones (2) Stable respect and should race handy to the speed. Can stick on for a place

Race 7

Magic Sign (5) Good second last start and looks a major player in this. Top selection in this
Nyla (2) Should be improved and likely to get a soft run in transit. Top three chances look good
Franco Huntington (4) Back in form and drawn to stay handy again. Always a place chance

Race 8

Pay Me Speedy (10) Draw hurts but due to show form again and this field looks easier this week
Livy Desma (2) Ok run for fourth last start and expect improvement here. Winning claims
Carrera Sunset (9) Good form and should go close with a good run in transit. Needed here

Race 9

Rakamurph (10) Better than this field on ability and looks a good winning chance here. Include
Sporty Charlie (8) Good forth last start and should be improved. Can run top three with luck
Victor Bravo (11) Another tricky draw but sprint trip might suit. Should be thereabouts in this
