Dover, DE – Incaseyoudidntknow (Always B Miki) grinded it out first over and won the $26,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday night. The harness racing victory was her fourth consecutive win.
Sparks were flying early as Tae, My Little Captain and Southwind Icenfire all raced for early race position from the start of the race. Incaseyoudidntknow and driver Art Stafford, Jr. were able to drop into fourth approaching the quarter.
Race favorite My Little Captain (Tim Tetrick) was used hard and parked to the quarter in :27 flat. She continued to race on the engine and led the field to the half in :55.3.
Incaseyoudidntknow raced first over from 4th down the backstretch. Disturbed Hanover followed second over.
Incaseyoudidntknow drew alongside the pacesetter My Little Captain as they reached the three quarters in 1:23.4.
In the deep stretch, Incaseyoudidntknow was able to power past My Little Captain late and won by one and one-half lengths in 1:52.1. She paid $6.00 for the win.

Incaseyoudidntknow is owned by James P Magno and Joseph P. Fonte both from Maryland and is trained by Les Givens. My Little Captain raced gamely to finish second with Disturbed Hanover (Barton Dalious) was third.
Art Stafford Jr earned 5 driving wins on the betting card.
I Did It MyWay highlights the12th race Blue Hen/ Open Handicap Pace on Thursday. There is an $1,170 Pentafecta carry over to the 15th race tomorrow. Post Time at Bally’s Dover is 4:30 pm.
