Harness racing pacer I Did It MyWay (Captaintreacherous) did just that, as he won wire-to-wire in the $27,500 Blue Hen Open Handicap at Bally’s Dover on Thursday night (Nov. 20).
I Did It MyWay blasted off the wings of the starting gate but was parked to the quarter. Penzance Hanover also left but retreated to take the pocket journey. All others in the race took back and found seats.
I Did It MyWay the1/9 betting favorite, intimated the field as he rung up fractions of :26.2, :54.2 and1:22.2.
Stag Party moved first up down the backstretch. Mack, who won back-to-back races, was towed into the second over trip, however those bids proved futile.
I Did It MyWay accelerated in the stretch and won in hand by 2 lengths and a time of 1:49.4. He paid $2.10 for the win.

I Did It My Way is owned by David Hamm, Evm Racing LLC. and Glenn Phillips all from Delaware and is trained by Chuck Crissman Jr. Penzance Hanover, the former horse of the meet at Bally’s Dover finished second with Captain Cowboy third.
Tim Tetrick won 5 races on the betting card.
