Harness racing hits Winton again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 4:03pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Northview Sweet (8) Racing well and draw only concern. Can run top three again here
Major Envy (4) Getting better with racing and strikes a weaker field here. Hard to beat
Cock A Hoop (7) Ran the odd good race last campaign. Has the ability to run top three

Race 2

Joeking (5) This field looks weaker than what he has beaten in the past. Manners a worry
Boss Jo (2) Trainer change and likely to be improved several lengths. Not the worst
Time Is Precious (7) Needs to trot all the way but has speed. One for longer odds

Race 3

Ultimate Weapon (5) Mobile and track suit. Trial runs say he should go close to winning
Pounamu (4) Draw upgrade and getting fitter with racing. Has to be respected in this field
Captain Meister (11) Good form but tricky draw. Will be running on and can run top three

Race 4

Miraculous (5) Coming in fresh but drawn ok and looks hard to hold out in this. Include
Tycoon Banner (6) Tidy win last start but this looks harder. Nice top three chance here
Fulloffight (4) Ok at trials but will have to be good to win this. Top driver booked for this

Race 5

Durrant (9) Strikes a fence draw and conditions suit. Can place with any gaps in the straight
Fireforefiddle (4) Has raced better fields in the past but a bit one paced. Chance with a hot pace
Livy Desma (7) Has been disappointing but better than that. Slight drop in grade for this

Race 6

Ruby Roe (7) Good win on debut and has been freshened. Looks one of the better chances
Flying Ellie (8) Two good wins last campaign. Draw not great but good chance if fully fit
Showsomejoy (2) Could get a soft run from the draw and top driver jumps on. Top three chance

Race 7

Hidden Talent (13) Should be improved for this after some solid Canterbury runs. Needed here
Sally Lindenny (8) Good last start but this is harder. Good chance if she can find the front again
Night Watch (5) Freshened for this and will improve with the run. Place claims if fit enough

Race 8

Itoje (5) Big motor and likely to go forward early. Very hard to hold out again in this
Westar Molly (10) Top driver booked and should be running on here. Top three chance
Castelo De Vide (1) Good draw and likes to race handy. Place chance with a soft trip

Race 9

Da Vinci (8) Has been unlucky and strikes a much weaker field here. Looks hard to beat
Rakamurph (7) Running on last start. Will be improved and can place at nice odds.
Micaitlen Denario (9) Another tricky draw but has a big finish. Should be thereabouts

Race 10

Joes Rock (8) Has the ability but needs the right trip. Good chance on this bigger track
Brookies Player (12) Form a bit patchy but course stats ok. At his best would be a chance
Tact McLeod (9) Coming in fresh and will need luck. Could surprise and one for longer odds
