Harness racing hits Gore again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 12:03pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R1   Courtney May

Best Value:  R7   Get Kraken

Race 1

Courtney May (9) Freshened and trainer change. Likely to have developed more speed
Without Comparison (12) Tricky draw but getting better with racing. Has to be respected
Wudabubbit (5) On debut and has trial form. Top three chance in this with no mistakes

Race 2

Rosie Richter (7) Likely to head forward to take advantage early. Race winner
Baltic Star (10) Has good ability and racing better fields. Can run top three in this
California Dreaming (11) Freshened and should go a strong race here. Needed in this

Race 3

Sky Fawkes (1) Track was against last start. From the draw a big chance in this
Sidorova (12) Tidy run first up and looks capable of filling a place again. Needed
Spectator (8) Strikes a tricky draw but on his trials ability looks a solid chance here.

Race 4

Ballygar (2) Strikes a weaker field here. Canterbury raiders do well here. Needed
Tuneinsportsfans (3) Has not had much luck but has the speed to lead in this. Chance
Trail Boss (7) Wide draw but the motor is there. Should be thereabouts in this

Race 5

Eyre I Will  (7) On his recent form looks a solid winning chance. Paying good odds
Jordan Anne (13) Racing well in similar fields. Respect with natural improvement
Kenny’s Charm (15) Needs to get around with no mistakes but could surpris

Race 6

Da Vinci (6) Big run last start and should lead. Looks one of the better chances in this
Watermelon Sugar (7) Canterbury raider dropping in class. Has to be included here
Rakamurph (9) Trainer jumps back on and only needs a good trip to show some form

Race 7

Get Kraken (7) Speedy and conditions suit. Looks a major player in this. Top selection
Robyns Shadow (10) Hard to catch but good at his best. One for longer odds
Emerald Abbey (11) Due to strike form again. Can run top three here at nice odds 

Race 8

Andy Hall (8) Racing well and looks a winning chance in an even field. Top three chance
Aveross Majesty (6) Goes best with one run at them. One of the better chances here.
Majestic Love (7) Freshened and has trialled ok. Needs the run to suit but has claims

 Race 9

Stickifingers (3) Tidy win on debut and had excuses last start. Top selection here
La Moth (2) Ran on last start and should improve. One for longer odds from the draw
Sweet Spirit (10) Tidy win at Manawatu and can go on with it. Place chance in this

Race 10

Captain Tom (11) Tricky handicap but good enough to make his own luck. Can win
Jimmyray (8) Goes best if powering along in front. Chance if he goes forward early
Deny Everything (9) Good third last start. Stand suits and not the worst in an even field 

Race 11

Willison (6) Wide draw but could go forward early. Chance at longer odds here
Amass (8) Big motor but wide draw. Has claims with a cart into the race.
Harrison (7) Another with gate speed and likely to press forward. Can run top three
