After a third in the New Zealand Oaks, Kahlua Flybye (Bettor’s Delight) is likely to start favourite in tomorrow’s Peters Genetics Roxburgh Cup which is the feature harness racing event on the Roxburgh TC card.

The Steve and Amanda trained four year old mare is the lone starter off twenty metres and most of her opposition will be starting off the ten metre mark.

Race Seven is the first heat of the Southern Oaks series and the Telfers line up Aardie B Miki (Always B Miki) as they look to get early points on the board for the April final.

Telfer says the stable won’t have any runners at the Cromwell meeting, but stable driver Tim Williams will be staying in the south looking after a small team that will target the Winton HRC meeting on the 10th January and then the Northern Southland meeting at Ascot Park five days later.

“Both Kahlua Flybye and Sweet Diamond will run in the Southern Belle Speed Series,” Telfer said.

Ohoka Connor is pencilled to start in the Northern Southland Cup.
