Harness racing hits Wairarapa again today with six races on the card. The racing starts at 11:25am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R3  Amelia Rose

Best Value:  R4  Village Rebel

Race 1

Challenger (2) Unknown on grass but respect around the trainer. Worth including
Saifa (3) Good effort on debut and can improve for this. Top three chance here
Prince Miki (4) First start was solid. Drawn ok and can fill a top three spot in this

Race 2

Rockin Roman (5) Trial form is solid and has to be a good chance here. Needed
Carbon (1) Draw suits and will race handy. Grass debut here but should handle it
Sharkntatties (2) Likely to head forward early. Can run top three in this. Include

Race 3

Amelia Rose (5) Conditions suit here and has grass track form. Trainer going good everywhere
Voodoo Prince (10) Has not had all the luck and one paced but could surprise with a soft run
Ann Ofathousand Bays (3) Speedy and drawn to suit. Will go forward and could stick on

Race 4

Village Rebel (11) On his recent form looks a solid winning chance. Conditions suit here
Mr Kaplan (9) Tricky draw for this but track should suit. Has to be respected in this field
Medina Magic (3) Gate speed to lead and racing ok. Could surprise here if he goes forward

Race 5

Lightning McQueen (1) Track looks ideal with his fast start. Looks one of the better chances
Ngauruhoe (11) Change of trainer for this. Could be over the odds and needed here
Manchester In Time (13) Driver always always does well on the grass tracks. Include

Race 6

Superstar Legend (8) Quick beginner who looks a major player in this. Top selection
Katies Princess (2) Good draw for this and grass should be ideal. One of the best chances
Vincents Girl (6) Trainer has two in race and this one has winning claims as well. Needed
