New Vocations stallion auction starts February 6

New Vocations’ 26th Annual Stallion Auction will be held via ongait.com Feb. 6-8.

This important fundraiser is crucial to the charity’s ability to rehabilitate, train and rehome nearly 100 retired harness racing horses and broodmares each year. Breedings to Bettor’s Wish, Greenshoe, JK Endofanera, Rebuff, Green Manalishi, Courtly Choice, and Trixton are among the 50+ seasons that have already been donated.

“We greatly appreciate the many individuals and farms for their generosity in supporting this fundraiser,” said Executive Director Dot Morgan. “Rehabilitating sore racehorses, and transitioning them along with older broodmares, to pleasure riding, then finding qualified homes that will appreciate their wisdom and training, is a serious investment of time and money. The stallion auction helps give us the resources to fulfill this mission.”
