Harness Analyst – Northfield 20th January carryover pick five

We have a nice harness racing wagering opportunity tonight at Northfield Park. There is a carryover of $6,103 into the $1 Pick 5 bet, which starts in Race 6 which is scheduled to go at 7:50 p.m. Eastern.

Let’s take a look at the sequence and see if we can find a winning ticket:

Race 6: 4,5,6

We get a talented six pack of aged pacing mares racing in the top class here.

(4) THINK OF GALAXIES makes her first start since being sold online and she goes for the top barn and gets hot driver Davis Jr. I expect a big try from her tonight

(5) CRÈME DELIGHT N finished 2nd at this level two straight weeks and her potent early speed always puts her in the mix.

(6) FAIRIESDELIGHT A is hard to leave out considering she won at this level two starts in a row and she showed she can leave for position then win first up.

Race 7: 2,6,8

(8) TABLE FOR FOUR gets Lasix and Merriman tonight for this 2024 debut and she has enough gate speed to fly out of there. She could add some value to this Pick 5.

(2) COBBLER gets a key driver change tonight from the trainer to catch driver Davis Jr. and she should be a big threat here starting from the inside.

(6) REALLY SAM shoots for a threepeat here and she will be coming late again, but note she loses post advantage tonight.

Race 8: 4

(4) QUINNDELYNN will be singled on many tickets but she kind of stands out here and is hard to go against.

Race 9: 4,7,8

(7) DONN’S COUNT tried to fire out from post 8 last time but had to take a tuck, then got shuffled. This looks like a spot where he can make front and he gets the call to upset.

(8) OKIEDOKIESMOKIE raced decently here on the rim over a sloppy track after shipping in from Pennsylvania and he is another potential value player leaving from the widest post.

(4) FRANKISS has the best recent form and she is hard to leave out, but she might be too far back again to pass them all.

Race 10: 5

This is a big class drop for (5) GIRL SCOUT COOKIE and I expect driver Lems to fire her right to the front and take a stranglehold on this race early. This is a field that she should have no problem handling. She will be my single to close out this Pick 5.
