Saturday of Amerique weekend has historically featured the Prix du Luxembourg (purse 100,000€, 2100 meters autostart for ages 5-11) but this year four groupe level contest share the stage.

The Gr. II International Prix Roquepine (purse 150,000€, 2700 meters for four-year olds) and the Gr. II International Prix Paul Viel (purse 150,000€, 2700 meters for three-year olds) are co-highlights. But, the leading interests are two SWC Finales that have engaged likely trotting sport leaders in future years. The Prix Bold Eagle (Gr. I International, purse 300,000€, 2700 meters for five year olds, open SWC 5 Ans Finale) will have Just  A Gigolo 1,162,000€ in life earnings, Dimitri Ferm 733,000€, Jean-Michel Bazire’s Jushua Tree 587,000€ the Criterium Continental winner, and Josh Power 432,000€ at the start.

Jushua Tree

In the Gr. I International Prix Ourasi (purse 300,000€, SWC 4 Ans Finale open, 2700 meters) will also be a highly competitive affair led by probables Koctel du Dain 652,000€ from the Philippe Allaire string, Kana de Beylev 576,000€, and Krack Time Atout 309,000€. All should be there for superb trotting action.
