Arqana-Trot held one of harness racing’s elite breeding sales with its first Prix d’Amerique Sale Session at Deauville today (Jan. 24).
98 trotteurs were sold from 181 presented with gross sale of 1,733,500€. The average was 17,689€ up 35.3% from last year when 126 consignments were sold.
The sale topper was 130,000€ for Hip 153 Anna Mix (14f Ludo du Castelle-Ires) in foal to Italiano Vero last bred March 11.
Panamera Racing was the buyer of the great Anna Mix. Italiano Vero (Ready Cash) races Sunday in the Amerique. Anna Mix won 1,350,957€ trained by Franck Leblanc.
Second at the top was Hip 99 Jessica Quick (5f Love You-Touch Of Quick) in foal to Ready Cash and last bred April 17. She brought 100,000€ from Gaetano Pezone.
Others near the top were Hip 97 Highness Quick (7f Up And Quick-Aisy Wood) in foal to Enino du Pommereux for 75,000€ and Hip 159 Koldikova (4f Bold Eagle-Emotion) also for 75,000€ to Ecurie Hunter Valley
