Grove City, Ohio – The Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association has elected Scott Mogan as its new President. Mogan has served on the OHHA’s Board of Directors for 11 years. He replaces Steve Bateson who served as President from 2019 – 2023.
Mogan began his career in the harness racing industry at the age of 15 working for Jim Pollock Sr. He was a second trainer for Joe Adamsky before opening his stable in 1983. Currently, Mogan has 20 horses in his stable.
“I am looking forward to keeping the ball rolling in Ohio,” said Mogan. “I don’t know of another state that has the racing opportunities for horses that we do in Ohio.”
Mogan will be assisted by Randy Haines who was as elected as Vice President of the Association.
