Gil Winston’s Meadowlands and Freehold Analysis for 1/26 and 1/27

The objective of this analysis is to identify horses with plus or minus evaluations that are not identifiable in the harness racing program.

Horses whose performances are accurately captured in the past performances are not captured here, regardless of how well or poorly they may have raced. These scores do not indicate must bet or must toss the next time they race because other handicapping factors will come in to play. But it does give the bettor a huge edge in what is frequently the most important factor when making betting decisions. We recommend saving this data as other factors may cause a horse to have one or more issues (e.g., interference, layoffs, breaks, off track, driver change) and you will want to go back to the last line that appeared clean on the program.

However, many flagged horses have been coming in with generous payouts. Please note that horses that ship in are not tracked in the Meadowlands/Freehold analysis and win many race, But horses that ship between M1 and Freehold have produced some of the bigger payouts. In addition, do not expect to see many favorites on the winners list. They frequently show their abilities in the past performances, and are less likely to be given a score.

This was the First time that three horses were flagged in the same race, and they finished 1-2-3.

KING ALPHONSO won at 8-5.

CHALLENGER finished 2nd at 4-1.  (EXACTA PAID $25.20.

THREEPOINTBLUECHIP finished 3rd at 13-1. (TRIFECTA PAID $186.40)

Turns out this was a carryover pentafecta race, and the twenty-cent payout was $682. Hope some of you got lucky in this race.
