The Century Mile harness racing meet wrapped up on Saturday (Feb. 3) with a nine-race card.
In one of the dayās highlights, Handcuffed (Captive Audience) maintained her unbeaten record on the year with a third straight victory. The mare went wire-to-wire in 1:56.4 for a new career-best. Phil Giesbrecht drives, trains, and co-owns her with Annabelle Pirie and Jeff Shewchuk.

My Little Chloe (Lambretta) won her third consecutive contest in the meet finale, cutting the mile in 1:56.2 for driver Thomas Michael Miller. Brinsley Brooking Lutz trains the four-year-old mare and shares ownership with Harvey Jaeger and Cory Manning.
MY LITTLE CHLOE REPLAY
David Kelly was the winningest trainer of the meet with 64 wins. Kelly Hoerdt and Brinsley Brooking Lutz tied for the top trainers of the new year.
Michael Hennessy topped the driversā standings for the meet with 68 victories. Kelly finished second. Phil Giesbrecht tallied the most wins since Jan. 1 with 14.
Alberta harness racing will move to Calgary next month when Century Downs kicks off its 2024 season on Mar. 16. Century Mile will resume racing on Sep. 21.
