Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:55am and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Race 1

Pure Courage (7) Driver change and a winner last time in amateurs. Hard to beat here
Arizonawildcat (8) Running on last start. Conditions suit here and a chance at longer odds
Foveaux Gambler (13) Will need luck in transit but can place if the planets align. Include

Race 2

Illegal Alien (6) Quick beginner suited to the short trip. Should go close to winning
Ali Lindenny (8) Tricky draw but can start well. Each way chance if she finds the fence
Granny Rose (3) Likely to be near the front early from the nice draw. Place chance

Race 3

Bevron (2) Has form and always close to the placings. Looks over the odds on paper
Moondance (7) Manners not great but trialing ok. Has the motor but needs to trot
Solemn Son (5) Not putting it all together on race day. Driver change might help here

Race 4

Alta Showgirl (10) Not far away from a win. Drawn for a soft pegs run so needed here
Vinnie Sims (3) Better last start and could surprise with a good run in transit. One for odds
Rockcent (1) Looks the likely leader in the race. Can win with no mid race attacks

Race 5

The Royal Gamble (7) Never far away and driver change here. One of the better chances
Musclynn (8) Due to build some form again and normally a good beginner. Include
Lil Miss Muscles (5) Top win last start and getting fitter. Chance of going back to back

Race 6

Toby Tom B  (12) Tricky draw but up to beating this lot. Win chance at longer odds
Chase The Stars  (14) Drawn badly but big motor. Will need luck but can win
Fergalicious (3) Stable does well on the track. In form and one of the better chances

Race 7

Crazy N Love (3) Ran on here last start. Needs manners but is a chance to improve
Love Walked In (2) Building fitness and drawn well. Top driver booked for this
Didjabringthebubbles (1) Won here in similar conditions last start. Can double up

Race 8

Heza Sport (8) Has speed and in form. Will need a good run in transit but can win. Include
Buckskin (2) Goes ok the track and distance suits. Top three chance at longer odds
Double Time (5) In a good run of form and chance with a quick beginning. Each way hope

Race 9

Idle Stuartia (3) Looks the likely early leader. Should be hard to beat again here. Needed
Roydon Muscle (7) Needs to be put in the race. Can go close if handy on the turn here
Zsa Zoe (4) Races well here and always a place chance on grass. Has to be respected

Race 10

Style Council (3) Conditions suit and should give a good account with a safe beginning
Kennedy (4) Should get a run through from the draw. One for longer odds in this
Fitzthebill (9) Getting better with racing and if the pace is on cam run top three. Include

Race 11

White Star Orlando (1) Has been unlucky last three starts. Drawn much better here
Baltimore Jill  (10) Could be trailing the right horse here. Will be running on late
Tanganyika (3) Drawn to get a run near the speed. Can run top three with luck
