Harness racing hits Cambridge again today with nine races on the card. The racing starts at 5:45pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good night of racing.

Race 1

Hillbilly Blues (2) Gets a head start on main rivals. Has gone ok at workouts and can win fresh
A Trophy Wife (10) Good runs in recent races. Track stats suggest another top three finish
Itbetterbenow (5) Manners needed but a chance if she gets it right early. One for longer odds

Race 2

Sheza Mermaid (3) Better draw and will be fitter. Looks a good chance in todays race
Papenhuyzen (9) Has ability and driver change for this. Should go close to top three here
Magie Do (8) Comes North with form on the board. Tricky draw but has place claims.

Race 3

Roy Kent (3) From a stable that has a god record with 2yo first starters. Top selection
Franco Salah (5) Has ok trial form. Can run top three here with a good run in transit
Lincoln Lou (1) Drawn to be a solid chance here and has looked ok at trials. Include

Race 4

Winners Time (4) Course and distance stats are good. Mobile will help and can win
Luby Lill (1) Goes well on the track and draw helps. Should be near the placings in this
Ruby Ridge (6) This looks easier than recent runs. No form but not the worst in this

Race 5

Cyren Shard (1) Drawn well here and better than form suggests. Chance at good odds
Minjee (2) Has gate speed and might head forward early. Chance if she can find the front
Akatea (4) Should be fitter after an ok effort last start. Might start favourite here. Needed

Race 6

Lou Baby (4) Improver for this after working too hard last start. One of the better chances
Whooshka (5) Conditions suit here and likely to head forward. Will need luck but can place
Margherita (1) Even field here but draw helps. Should get a soft run and top three chance

Race 7

Joca’s Hill (11) Tricky draw but easy win last start. Winning claims here with a similar effort
Wishing Star (5) Best runs have been from the front and freshened. Can place if he leads
Ultimate Moment (7) Stable does well on the track. Might head forward early and has claims

Race 8

Potter (1) Nice draw for this and has gate speed and in form. Top selection in this field
Benjamin Button (3) Getting fitter and pulled a flat tyre last start. Top three chance at odds
Onyx Shard (2) At her best would go close to placing here. One for longer odds in this

Race 9

Precious Bet (3) Coming in fresh and stable respect. One of the better chances in this
Frisco Bay (6) No form but has been burning up the trial track. Winning claims here
Micky Wade (4) Only fair on grass last start. Top three chance back on the grit. Include
