Rakaia harness racing trainer Warren Stapleton is hoping for a bit more luck on the second day of the Wyndham Harness Racing Club’s meeting at Cromwell tomorrow.

Portelli (Majestic Son) gets a chance to redeem in Race One after breaking and finishing second last on Friday.

Tane JJ (Highview Tommy) was unlucky on Friday and Stapleton is hoping for a better run tomorrow. He rates the six year old gelding as his best bet of the day in Race Three.

In Race Seven the stable has two runners, Cosmic Angel (Master Glide) and Eye Love You (Love You).

Cosmic Angel led and broke on the first day finishing sixth.

Eye Love You was an okay sixth on Friday and Kimberly Butt will drive the five year old mare again.

In Race Nine Lester (Bettor’s Delight) was a battling second on the first day and Stapleton says tomorrow’s race looks harder.
