The Jason Sherman harness racing barn was on fire in wintery conditions on Wednesday (Feb. 28) at The Raceway at the Western Fair District.
Sherman tallied three wins on the night. His first was a five-and-three-quarter-length domination with Journalistic (Sportswriter, Tyler Borth) in 2:01. The gelding added a 15th victory to his lifetime tally and increased his bankroll to $104,572 in 130 starts. Sherman co-owns the seven-year-old with Kori Maccabe of Beachville.
JOURNALISTIC REPLAY
The trainer went back-to-back as Eyes Of Justice (Justice Hall, Borth) wired the sixth-race field in 2:02. Sherman has owned and trained the gelding since January 2023. Eyes Of Justice is now 12-for-106 lifetime with $107,607 in earnings.
EYES OF JUSTICE REPLAY
Takeapeek At Me (Trixton, Garrett Rooney) circled the field in the eighth to complete the triple for Sherman. He was last on the outside turning for the backstretch and passed five opponents down the stretch to take the head victory in 2:01.3. Sherman co-owns the nine-time winner in 50 starts with Betty Sherman.

Jason Sherman is now six-for-32 on the season. He returned to training in 2020 following a nine-year absence and has racked up 51 wins since 2021.
Borth had the most wins among drivers on the card with three.
