Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:55pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good afternoon of racing.

Race 1

Bonnie’s Girl (6) Up in grade but good win last start. Hard to beat again in this field
Flying Bird (8) Tricky draw but racing strong fields. Can run top three with luck
Raknruin (5) Will be fitter after grass track racing. Honest and top three claims here

Race 2

Sweet DJ (5) Well bred and has looked ok at trials. No surprise to see her go close here
Miki’s Beauty (1) Good efforts in recent runs. Drawn much better and has to be respected
Gems Delight (6) Disappointing on debut but quick improver for this. One for longer odds

Race 3

Nubliah Chamay (2) Goes well in the conditions and will go close to winning this.
Jordan Anne (3) Good beginner who can run top three here with a good run in transit
Dwindle Star (5) Standing start suits and slight drop in grade. Has to be included

Race 4

Santanna Mach (7) Drawn wide but racing in good form. Chance with a cart into the race
Bombay Glacier (10) Disappointing last start. Win chance with top driver booked. Include
Lorton Vale (5) Good effort last start and will go close to placing at longer odds. Needed

Race 5

Hezasweetie (3) Drawn well and very hard to beat back on the grit track. Should go close
La Bamba (2) Battled well last start. Win chance with a trail in the race. Include here
Jaccka Evan (1) Good third last start. Can improve and be a serious threat to the favourite

Race 6

Xerion (6) Easy win last start but up in grade. Include here at longer odds. Can surprise
Fiery Bandito (11) Has a big motor and manners the only concern. Could win with no errors
Granny Rose (8) Going ok and steps well. Will race handy to the speed. Top three claims

Race 7

Music Mistress (2) Nice win last start and hard to see her beaten again here. Needed
Allets (5) Good at trials but lacking race day fitness. Stable respect and top driver booked
Beside Me (6) Stable does well on the track. Good breeding and has to be respected

Race 8

Aroha Kenny (7) Has the best form in the race. Only needs manners to be right in it
Dont Ask (2) Beat a strong field easily last start on grass. Needs to step but has claims
Cody Banner (4) At his best would go close to placing. Tough stayer who is getting fitter

Race 9

Brookies Player (8) Has raced well here in the past. Hard to hold out in this with luck
Fernleigh Blackbird (5) Tough field last start. Conditions suit and small field helps. Include
Raklou (6) Tricky draw and out of form. Top three chance if she can get handy in the race

Race 10

Cormac Leo (2) Conditions suit and should give a good account from the good draw
Jordy (6) Change of trainer but racing well. Winning chance here with manners
Bryce’s Meddle (1) Under rated pacer with a good draw. Top three chance at longer odds

Race 11

Magnetic Beckers (6) Track will suit and ran home well last start. Can go close here
Bobbies Rock (7) Good recent form and conditions suit. Will stick on if he gets handy
Nek Delight (8) Tricky draw and goes better from near the front. Can run top three with luck
