On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

In Harnesslink Race Replays of the Week we bring you a snapshot into the very best contests from around the harness racing tracks of the world.

USA REPLAY

Steve Wolf covered The Meadowlands action last Thursday with No Mas Drama (Muscles Yankee) taking out the $35’000 Fillies & Mares Invitational Trot. The nature of the victory, a romp from the front of the race, impressive in nature. Helpoftheseason and Queen Of All were all but passengers when bringing up the trifecta some 8 lengths behind the runaway winner.

CANADIAN REPLAY

Trey Colbeck covered the flying Armycaptian Hanover recently, the son of Captaintreacherous bringing up his third straight victory with a win at Fraser Downs on Friday night. The 1.52.4 proved good enough to hold off Sunshine Boy and Itll Be Fine. Watch the inform type below.

AUSTRALIAN REPLAY

Harnesslink Media covered the Australian feature, the Group 2 Ainsworth Australian Light Horse FFA, last week with It’s Merlin casting his spells over race rivals to score a most impressive victory. Merlin ended up winning by a head at the line, posting a 1.53.7 mile rate. Rock N Roll Doo and Max Delight, both class animals in their own right, filled the trifecta.

NEW ZEALAND REPLAY

Bruce Stewart reported on some beautiful music from Invercargill on Saturday. Music Mistress (Sweet Lou) winning the Caduceus Club of Southland /Alabar Fillies Classic. The win coming up in seemingly easy style as the race was won from the front of the race with challenges fought off a furlong out from home.

We’ll be back with more race replays of the day in seven days time
