When Miraculous (Bettor’s Delight-Kelly Maguire), Harrison John (Always B Miki-Rozelski) and Dawson (Sweet Lou-Speights Girl) finished the first race in that order at Wyndham on Thursday, it was a breeding trifecta for Auckland powerhouse breeder Breckon Farms.
All three were bred on farm and sold at the 2022 NZB Standardbred Auckland Yearling Sales in Auckland.
Miraculous was bought by Peter Lagan Standardbred for $66,000, Diamond Racing had to go to $105,000 to get Harrison John, while Otago trainer Graeme Anderson paid $35,000 for Dawson.
Canterbury breeder Simon Pulley now owns Kelly Maguire (Christian Cullen) and Speights Girl (Mach Three) while Breckon Farms has retained Rozelski (Bettor’s Delight).
Pulley has a Lazarus yearling filly out of Speights Girl and a two year old filly by Always B Mik out of Kelly Maguire named Shewonmeover.
