Harness racing trainer Richard Austin is based at Ascot Park in Invercargill so he won’t need to travel when the Invercargill Harness Racing Club hosts a ten card meeting tomorrow.
California Dreaming (Somebeachsomewhere) faces ten rivals in Race Four and draws barrier one. From six starts on the tracks he’s been placed twice. He last raced three weeks ago and has been back at the workouts twice since then.
La Bamba (Rock N Roll Heaven) also takes his place in Race Four. His form is very good but he draws wide at six. He’ll be handled by Peter Hunter and Austin rates him as the stable’s best chance tomorrow.
Joanie Magic (Net Ten EOM) completes Austin’s day in Race Ten. The seven year old mare has won all of her three races on the track and draws well at two.
