Harness racing hits Invercargill again today with ten races on the card. The racing starts at 12:57pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R8  Louies Girl

Best Value:  R4  Dragon Power

Race 1

Cloudy (2) Trialling well and drawn to play a part. Good chance with manners
Dignify (5) Good manners and can run top three in what is quite a weak field
Tillaberi (3) Improving and rough chance on his recent trial efforts. Will need to step

Race 2

Haley Jaccka (2) Looks one of the better chances in this based on her recent trials. Can win
Havarti Arden (5) Racing well at trials and mile should suit. Has to be included here
Fabricate (7) Fair in recent races and a top three chance with luck in running.

Race 3

Vinita Rose (1) Better suited to this race and has speed. Top selection in this field
Ward Lamon (2) Racing well and conditions suit. Can run top three again with similar
Stickifingers (6) Good form and improving with racing. Has to be respected in this field

Race 4

Dragon Power (4) Looks a winner at trials but not showing it race day. Give another chance
Asta (3) Drops in class for this. Nice draw and a good chance with a good trip. Include
Big Boyz Toy (5) Should get a cosy run from the draw. Might show improvement. Needed

Race 5

Bring On The Muscle (6) No good on grass last couple. Better here and top selection
Dont Ask (5) Disappointing last start but can bounce back. Can run top three in this field
Krackaling (2) Tidy draw and dropping back from a better Canterbury field. Include

Race 6

Lorton Vale (3) Drawn well and getting better with racing. Top selection in this field
Superfast (5) Gate speed and will go forward. Could surprise at good odds here
Livy Desma (1) Disappointing last start. Drawn to be a major player in this. Needed

Race 7

Ruby Seddon (8) Has been running good races just in behind. Can go one better
Granny Rose (3) Not much luck last start and ran home well. Will lead early and can win
Without Comparison (5) Manner needed but could sneak a place at longer odds here

Race 8

Louies Girl (6) Has both gate speed and finishing speed. Hard to hold out here
Raklou (5) Getting back to her best form. Hard to see her beating the favourite but can place
Always Ticking (4) Likely early leader here and can stick on for a top three in this

Race 9

Jordy (9) Should give a good account after racing in better fields recently. Top selection
Mr President (1) Getting fitter with racing and a top three chance from the draw. Include
South Seas Rock (8) Goes best in front and wide draw might not stop him here. Needed

Race 10

Netherton Franco (7) Conditions suit and will start favourite. Looks hard to beat
Jenny Gump (5) Has gate speed and might lead early. Place chance at longer odds
Get Kraken (1) Goes best with one run at them and will get that here. Top three chance
