On North American harness racing tracks it’s all about speed over a mile trip, in Australia it’s a mix of both standing start and mobile features across a range of track sizes, in New Zealand it could be about an extreme two-mile contest or a grass track race featuring non-race winners and in Europe the champion trotter is celebrated as a king of the track.

USA REPLAY
Garnet Barnsdale covered some of the exciting Yonkers Invitational Trot action on Thursday night last week, the features, which are always hotly contested, saw some excellent winning turns. Pappardelle, racing out of the Jenn Bongiorno stable, was one to impress, flying past rivals to secure a win in good time, surpassing the $350’000 mark with the victory, Check out the replay here.

Nicholas Barnsdale picked up the story of a progressive Convoy Hall last week. The gelding by Muscle Mass has really caught the eye of late with his latest win at Woodbine Mohawk Park being of high quality. A 10-length victory always assured as he sped away from race rivals to win in 1.56.3
NEW ZEALAND REPLAY
Bruce Stewart reported on the $60,000 Coca-Cola Superstars Championship at Addington on Friday, the major feature saw a class field assembled with the Telfer trained Alta Meteor once again proving his quality with a strong victory over stablemate Ohoka Connor. The win was the 10th of his career. Watch the action below.
