Cambridge trainer Arna Donnelly will line up three runners for Thursday at her local track before heading up the road to Auckland on Friday for premier harness racing, with her two big guns Kango (American Ideal) and Jolimont (Sweet Lou).
Arnaās night at Cambridge starts in Race Three with the consistent trotter Keep It Classy (What The Hill) starting off the unruly. Sheās been placed on her home track five times in twelve starts.
Donnelly lines up three runners in Race Five ā Cracker Rock (Rock N Roll Heaven), Shez The One (Sweet Lou) and Carolina Moon (Mach Three).
Cracker Rock gets the inside draw and will be handled by Todd Mitchell.
Shez The One also gets a nice marble at four. Her form was good up until her last start when she galloped.
Carolina Moon draws four on the second row. She over raced at her last start finishing eighth.
On Friday at Alexandra Park Arna saddles up Irish Whisper (Art Major) in Race Three. Her form is excellent, she gets a nice draw at three but the race in full of form runners.
In Race Four, The NZB Standardbred Harness Million Three Year Old Trotters Final, Donnelly will line up Dragonstone (Father Patrick). The $75,000 feature is full of talent and after running sixth on debut the three year old filly won at her next start. At her last start she sat parked and weakened out.
Stable stars Kango (American Ideal) and Jolimont (SweetĀ Lou) get favourable draws (three and four) in Race Seven, The G1 $110,000 Dawson Harford Taylor Mile.
Kango was excellent in The Race By Grins, finishing third.
Jolimont is one of the harness racing stars of the moment. The talented four year old is on a winning streak of four and will face Free for All company for the first time.
Heāll be driven by Todd Mitchell.
Bad Medicine (Bettorās Delight) will haves six rivals in the $40,000 Classique Landscapers Northern Region Championship Final.
Heās yet to win at this distance and from a stand combined, but he has numerous placings in each separately.
