Competing from the rail in the 9th race feature, Seaside Diva and driver Chris Page went to the early lead with No Follin April (Brett Miller) grabbing the two-hole spot from post five. They raced by the opening quarter mile in :27.4.
Seaside Diva led the way to the half mile marker in :57.2 as Beautiful Lather (Trace Tetrick) started coming first-over from fifth place. That flushed Daisy’s Star (Sam Widger) first-over in the backstretch, who was able to get into second place on outside by the three-quarters in 1:24.3.
By the top of the stretch Seaside Diva and Page held the field at bay to the wire, winning by one and one-half lengths in 1:52.3. No Follin April was second with Daisy’s Star third.
