Harness racing hits Rangiora again today with eleven races on the card. The racing starts at 11:45pm and we highlight some specials and value runners we think can give you a run for your money on a good day of racing.

Best Bet:  R6  Kashkeeper 

Best Value:  R11  Expressive Love

Race 1

Edward Longshanks (3) Trialing well and plenty of speed. Manners needed but winning claims
Tinkerbelle (7) Likely to head forward early here. Ok draw and hard to beat with no mistakes
Pyramid Rose (6) Recent trial winner who can go close on debut. Win chance at longer odds

Race 2

Fulham Jive (12) Racing well in better fields and suited here. Good chance of winning
Pioneer (5) Conditions suit and better than the form suggests. Could surprise here
Pacific Thunder (3) Should get a run near the front from the draw. One for longer odds

Race 3

Monkeycmonkeydoo (2) Racing well and only luck in running needed to go close in this.
Spotlight  (5) Getting better with racing. Speedy trotter and has to be included in this.
Solemn Son (8) Manners will be the key. Has the ability and top three chance at big odds

Race 4

Verducci (2) Drawn to be handy early. Will not need much improvement to figure here
Remission (1) Ok last start. Trailing draw might help and one of the better chances
Jazzys Upstart (9) Wide draw and will need luck but stable respect here. Place chance

Race 5

Sophia’s Dream (4) Good second last start. Hard to beat with a quick beginning. Include
Acento (6) Likes the track and only needs a safe beginning to be a threat at longer odds.
Ideal Double (10) Tricky draw but track will suit and a winning chance with luck in running

Race 6

Kashkeeper (7) Ran home best last start and improver here. Main selection in this
Shards Matrix (8) Freshened for this and looked forward at workouts. Top three chance
Piccadilly Pete (2) Ok last start and drawn to head to the front early. Can win with luck

Race 7

Sargent Best (8) Has the motor but tricky draw here.. Good chance with a cart into it
Star Magic  (1) Not much luck last start and track and distance suit. Winning claims
Kink (2) Tidy draw and a soft run is likely. Honest and can sneak into the placing

Race 8

Tanzania (1) Up in grade but good win last start. One of the main chances with draw advantage
Heza Sport (4) Drawn ok and should begin quickly. Dangerous if he can lead. Put in combos
Rakero Rocket (2) Another who would be hard to run down in front. Place again from the draw

Race 9

Kiwi Hero (12) Hasn’t had all the luck but can go close at longer odds with the right trip
Mandalay Bay (1) Driver change for this. Has a big finish if saved for one run. Needed
Lewey Maguire (6) Drawn ok and stable in form Strong field but can place with luck in running

Race 10

Sunny Louis (7) Has been racing well lately. Will race handy here and can win with luck
Royal Del (13) Has raced ok in better fields. At his best would be hard to beat. Needed
Barrytown (2) Tidy draw and hardly ever out of the placings. Good place hope in this

Race 11

Expressive Love (6) Stable change here. Has gate speed and good enough to run top three
Fernz Goldy (8) Horror draw but good enough to get into the finish with a cart into it. Include
Santanna Mach (7) Wide draw but top driver will put him in the race. Winning claims here
