In the featured Prix Albert Demarc (Gr. II, purse 120,000€, 2850 meters, 14 five-year old starters) the 6.3/1 Jazzman Debailleul (5m Repeat Love-Scarlet Gaby) won timed in 1.12.6kr/ Franck Nivard reined the Erno Szirmay trainee that he also owns. Jassman now has right wins from 29 starts for 270,130€ earned.
Jiosco de Phyts (5m Bolero Love) was second at 2.6/1 odds with Eric Raffin driving while third went to 14/1 J’Aime le Foot (5m Boccador de Simm) for trainer/driver Antoine L’Herete. The well-regarded Just A Gigolo made a misque early.
In the monte Prix Roger Ledoyen (Gr. III, purse 90,000€, 2850 meters, 10 European starters) the 2.6/1 In Love du Choquel (6m Carat Williams-Star du Choquel), racing with shoes on, was an easy winner for jockey Francois Lagadeuc. Nicolas Bridault trains for owner/breeder Bruno Bridault as his charge won for the 11th time in 35 starts now for 358,350€ earned.
The classy going chestnut dispatched 5.3/1 Graal du Tresor (8g Ludo de Castelle) ridden by trainer Mathieu Mottier, with third to 1.8/1 odds favorite Edition Gema (10f Prince Gede) and her jockey Guillaume Martin. The 7.7/1 Filwell (9g Qwerty) closed from far back to gain fourth with Camille Levesque aboard.
In the Prix de Rouergue ([urse 75,000€, 2100 meters autostart, 15 European aged trotteurs 7-11 years) the 4,4/1 Horchestro (7g Sam Bourbon-Alisma du Corta-Love You) swept by for the 1.10.8kr victory. David Bekaert teamed the G.R. Huguet trainee to his 15th career win in 55 starts now for 450,690€ earned.
The 6.6/1 Have A Dream (7m Royal Dream) was second for trainer/driver Matthieu Abrivard while 2.5/1 Eureka Vrie (10g First de Retz) ended third with Eric Raffin driving. BHordeaux S and Eberton completed the top five.
In the Prix du Vauclose (Gr. III, 70,000€ purse, 2700 meters. 14 four-year olds) the 6.3/1 odds Khal’s Fella (4m Ready Cash-Anastacia Fella-Goetmals Wood) scored in 1.13.7kr for Paul Philippe Ploquin, trainer Fabrice Souloy and owner Giovanni Iera. The winner recorded his sixth career victory in 15 outings now for 169,825€ earned.
The Ready Cash sweep saw 11/1 Keen Winner (4f Ready Cash-Darling de Reux-Prodigious) gain second for driver Anthony Barrier and third went to 10/1 Kanto Avis (4m Ready Cash-Ter Avis-Ganymede) with Benjamin Rochard aboard.
